In her debut season, the 5’9” point guard led the team in scoring, averaging 16.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 4 assists per game, earning her IEAC First-Team All-Conference honors. After receiving multiple offers, Thomas recently committed to continue her academic and athletic career at La Sierra University (Division II) in Riverside, California.

The team's season-opening weekend previewed what this team is capable of, with a dominant 103-69 victory over Imperial Valley College followed by a hard-fought 84-88 loss to Southwestern College.

The Palo Verde College women's basketball team faced tough competition in their season-opening weekend, falling 34-60 to Pasadena City College and 55-89 to Fullerton College.
